School Principal Message

Mr. Rajnish Kumar Singhai

"“The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character - that is the goal of true education.”
-Martin Luther King, Jr.
Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1 GCF Jabalpur has always strived to achieve excellence not only in the field of education but also in the realm of character building. We endeavor and ascertain that the oozing oodles of oomph in today’s students is properly channelized for creative and productive undertakings. In the classrooms of today, the responsible citizens of tomorrow are being sculpted. The vidyalaya at all times has believed in the ever so escalating stimulus and influence of information and communication technology in the field of education. It, owing to which, has prompted us to maximize the use of ICT in classroom transaction. This has shown assorted paybacks in addition to intriguing our students in studies along with making learning such a joyful venture. KVS’ flagship programme, e-prajna has been instrumental in proliferating our approach towards use of state of art technology in the turfs of education. As Swami Vivekananda has so rightly said, “Education is the manifestation of the perfection already in man.” Our unceasing efforts will help bring out that perfection through education. When we see the unsolicited corrosion of the values among today’s young generation, it essentially becomes our obligation to cushion this entire value system so that these priceless and irreplaceable values can survive the decline and continue to keep our country the unwavering and valued world leader. Value education is stressed upon through classroom transaction, morning assembly declamations, AEP sessions, school counselor, guest speakers etc. Like trains, the vidyalaya also cannot run on just one rail. They require both the rails of academics and co-curricular activities. That is why, we unfailingly give adequate stress on the both the domains of learning. If we empower today’s generation with the potent weapon i. e. education, it is sure to vaporize the dark clouds of ignorance.
The goal of education is not to increase the amount of knowledge but to create the possibilities for a child to invent and discover, to create men who are capable of doing new things.
-Jean Piaget
