KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA NO 1 GCF JABALPUR
Bal Vatika programme is designed as a preparatory class for children before Grade 1 with a focus on developing cognitive, affective and psychomotor abilities through learning by fun classes.

BALVATIKA 1,2 &3- ‘Preparatory Class’ or ‘Balvatika’ i.e. before Grade-I has been
introduced under NEP 2020 with a focus on developing cognitive, affective, and
psychomotor abilities and also early literacy and numeracy for the children of age group 3-
6 years of age. The class is scheduled for 3 hours per day for five days in a week as per KVS
guidelines.
Admission Status – 32 students admitted in the session 2024-25.
Six trained teachers and three caregiver have been appointed.
